About Garret
Garret is a medically retired Marine Corps Infantry Sergeant who recently graduated magna cum laude from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre: Performance. He is always curious and highly passionate about learning so that he can further develop himself as an artist. as an performing artist, Garret is thoroughly grounded in Stanislavski, and incorporates practices from Meisner, Adler, Hagen, Suzuki, Michael Chekhov Psychological Gesture, Rasa-Aesthetics, Epic Theatre, German Expressionism, and some others into his creative repertoire.
Some Personal Awards and honorable mentions for Garret include a 2019 Irene Ryan nomination, Kennedy Center Certificate of Merit for Acting, Central Theatre Ensemble 2019 stage movement award, Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon with Gold Star for combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, and a certificate of appreciation from former president Barack Obama.
